An unusual being

This is a story about a creature
that lives in this world,
here, among us
though not in a hidden way.
It’s more like a happy soul
who walks in the night and the day.

He looks like a human being
but I do not know if it is,
I think it was his mother
who gave that appearance to him.

He is not a troll, a hobbit or a gnome,
neither a ghost or mythological being.
I'm sure of this world he’s not
but I don't know what he is.
Whatever he is, he's friendly, I think;
I saw it in his splendid smile and look sweet.

With elongated steps
he walks everywhere
moving his lanky body
with the charm of an innocent child,
while a paintbrush and a videocam
have a stroll
between the long fingers and his hands.

If you see him anywhere
with his skeletal look
don't be afraid, don't be scared,
just don't worry and say to him “hi!”
He’s only looking for a face
just to create or draw.

Through his dark and sunken-eyes
the world is all too different:
it's normal to hypnotize a chicken,
to have tousled hair,
wear shirts with freak drawings
and mismatched socks on his feet.

He lives in a cozy lair
full of orange maple leaves,
it's his home, it's his den,
and it's perfect for this wonderful freak.

Where he comes from?
He comes from a magical world
where imagination reigns
and the most common pet Jabberwocky is.
Each morning, drink coffee in his G-mug
because he is the president and the population
of this, the wonderful, GLUBERNATION.
